Our past cruising experiences

We've been on 3 cruises. Disney Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean.  Our first cruise was on the Disney Dream and the our second cruise was on the Disney Magic. Royal Caribbean we took my parents, mil, and bil and cruised on Brilliance of the Seas.

April - Universal Studios weekend

May - Universal Studios weekend

June - My daughter is attending a gifted summer camp in North Carolina. We will drive up there and stay the week with her so she can attend.

July - Probably will go watch the Disney fireworks at one of their resorts for hubby's birthday. That is one thing we miss that Universal Studios does not have.

August - this year we decided to join the Miata's at the Gap in NC!!! Super excited and can't wait! Going to stay at a B&B. This is where hundreds of Miatas come and ride The Tail of the Dragon.

Disney Springs Raglan Road Irish Restaurant

This past trip to Universal Studios we had to stop in at Raglan Road Irish Restaurant at Disney Springs.  I had heard they made gluten free fish n chips and wanted to try them. I must say they tasted like the real thing. So crispy and delicious! The rest of my family had regular fish n chips which they enjoyed.  Service was pretty good too once she finally came to our table.  Hubby said the beer was good. :)

Disney Springs Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC

I was so excited to find this gluten free bakery in Disney Spring!  I ended up buying one of their cinnamon donuts. It was super moist and tasted just like a real donut. This made me very happy because I had been craving donuts due to the fact my kids just had a huge donut from Universal Studios. So if you are ever in Disney Springs look them up! 

St Marks, Florida

Hung out here for a few hours with the family to celebrate dad's 79th birthday. Saw the repleca of the ships Columbus sailed which was pretty cool.  Had lunch at one of the local restaurants which was pretty good if you don't mind waiting an hour and a half for your food due to the small kitchen. 

Disney Magic Kingdom Weekend May 2017

We went for a short weekend to Magic Kingdom back in May of 2017. We ate at the little Cafe in the Polynesian Resort which was really good. Got Dole Whips for an afternoon snack too and stayed for the fireworks. A few pictures from our trip....

Disney Weekend Just the two of us July 2017

Dearest hubby and I snuck away without the kids one weekend in July to see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. We love viewing them at the Polynesian Resort when we don't have tickets to the parks.  We also stayed at one of the value resorts that night and had breakfast at Ohana's which is in the Polynesian Resort. It's one of our favorite restaurants. We ended up going shopping at Disney Springs too.

Driving Miss Beatrice in the North Carolina mountains November 2017

So my dearest hubby has a little Mazda Miata convertible car that he calls Beatrice and sometimes he gets the urge to drive the mountains in NC. We usually drop the kids off with the grandparents for a weekend and hit the rode. It's lots of fun but we always seem to miss the leaves at their peak season.  This year we stayed a cute B and B and an inn.
